Our History

The Bloom Organization is a leading commercial industrial and office real estate management firm headquartered in Southern New Jersey. As a third generation company, it has evolved through the years and grown to be one of the region's largest privately owned property owners.

Founded in 1945 by Abraham Bloom, The Bloom Organization began in the business of building residential row homes in Camden, New Jersey. Henry Bloom joined his father in 1949 and the focus changed from residential venues to an emphasis on the construction of manufacturing and warehouse distribution facilities in Pennsauken, New Jersey.

In 1969, Steven Bloom, Henry's son, joined The Bloom Organization, bringing more innovative ideas, management principles and strong leadership to the business. His vision led to the development of flex, retail, single and multi-story office facilities that has built the comprehensive property portfolio The Bloom Organization manages today. This shift also included an expansion of the firm's geographic reach to the nearby areas of Mount Laurel, Marlton, Cherry Hill and West Berlin.

The Bloom Organization takes great pride in our commitment to the overall growth of South Jersey and its communities. Over the last six decades, the company's foresight in real estate development has been a significant factor in the economic health of Burlington and Camden Counties. The Bloom Organization currently owns and manages approximately 3 million square feet of industrial and office property, leasing to more than 350 tenants in space ranging from 800 square feet to 100,000 square feet.

A sampling of tenants includes a "who's who" of corporate America's major companies, including AT&T, Federal Express, Goodwill Industries, Great Spring Waters of America, Honeywell, Iron Mountain, J&J Snacks, Sprint and Wawa. Further, the firm leases to many of the region's small and mid-size businesses. The Bloom Organization property portfolio affords such tenants the flexibility to expand or downsize and evolve their businesses as needed with the confidence of a financially stable landlord.
